The Cow Shed at Lochore Meadows

Lomond Group is delighted to be working with Architects and planners on this exciting new facility.  The Cow Shed is currently a redundant agricultural building on the edge of Lochore Meadows, plans have been submitted to create a modern leisure facility, offering a café, outdoor seating area, play park, and commercial units. 

The proposed site is only a short walk from Lochore Meadows and the significant leisure amenities offered within the Park. In addition the centre of Kelty is only circa 1km from the site with additional commercial facilities available. The Cow Shed building will consist of a leisure facility, cafe, outdoor seating area and commercial units.

Presently the site use is grazing land which is dissected by below ground infrastructure. Set against the backdrop of Benarty Hill to the North, the site offers a spectacular setting with great access to the outdoors and the wide network of local paths. As such the proposal seeks to settle within the surrounding landscape, making use of the redundant agricultural building as an appropriate structure to offer public amenities to benefit locals and visitors to the lodge park.

The proposal is intended to complement the well-established tourism in Fife, providing a leisure and tourist facility to bring people.
